While every distinct season showcases the unique charms of Wakulla Springs State Park, spring is the park’s true chance to shine. It’s also a perfect time for the annual Wakulla Wildlife Festival, which will take place on April 16, 2016 at Wakulla Springs State Park.
For only $6.00 per vehicle (up to 8 people) you’ll gain full access to the park’s facilities as well as special nature presentations, entertainment options, and guided wildlife tours (for an additional fee). Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to learn more about Wakulla County’s remarkably diverse ecosystem and celebrate the animals that make this area one of the most unique natural habitats on the planet.
Learn about nature through fun, interactive presentations from wildlife experts
One of the most anticipated events of the festival is the Edutainment on the Green series, which is an opportunity for guests to experience exciting presentations on a variety of topics from many renowned wildlife experts. Topics range from majestic birds of prey to the importance of native habitats to an ecosystem, and they’re perfect for nature novices and seasoned scientists alike. Bluegrass/gospel band Coon Bottom Creek will also be on hand during breaks in the presentations to regale the crowd with their signature musical stylings.
