Gear up and get jolly for a string of Christmas celebrations throughout Wakulla County this December. Kicking off the festivities is a Christmas Parade in St. Marks. The parade will take place on December 4, and is the perfect way to get the whole family in the holiday spirit. Make sure to stop by and see all the decorated golf carts as they travel through town, grab some cookies and cider, and lookout for a special appearance from Santa Claus himself!
If you’re looking to double up on holiday spirit, split your time on December 4 with Wakulla County’s Christmas in Panacea event. Happening from 3 – 6 p.m. in Panacea Plaza, enjoy free food, games for kids, and a visit from Santa from 4 – 6 p.m. End your evening with the Parade of Lights on Coastal Highway, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The festivities don’t stop there. On December 10 enjoy another iconic annual event: Christmas in Sopchoppy! There will be local arts and crafts retailers with seasonal merchandise, food vendors, and live Christmas music galore. Rumor has it that Santa will be making an appearance here as well for all the kids – don’t miss out!
